Toth Finishes 10th in Hammer as Second Team All-American

MONMOUTH, Ill. (05/23/2026) — For the second season in a row, JIllian Toth (El Paso, Illinois) finished as a Second Team All-American in the hammer throw. Toth, a senior, finished 10th at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday.

Placed in the second flight, Toth started the day with a throw of 50.84m and was in 14th place after one round. She fouled her second throw and was in 17th place after two rounds. Toth threw 52.89m in her final throw to jump into 10th place.

It took 53.10m to qualify for the finals on Saturday and 60.11m ended up winning the championship. Toth finished 14th last year with a throw of 50.47m, earning Second-Team All-American.

Toth qualified sixth in the hammer with her PR throw of 55.15m coming at the Augustana Last Chance Qualifier. She won the hammer at the MWC Outdoor Championships with, at the time, the second-best throw in school history and a PR she surpassed less than a week later.
