Women's Tennis Finishes Season With Loss to Augie

MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/14/2026) — The Monmouth College women's tennis team added a match to their schedule and fell 6-1 to Augustana on Monday at home.. The Fighting Scots (2-12) picked up a singles win from freshman Tiah Riggs (Vincennes, Indiana) in their final match of the 2025-26 season.

Ivana Stefanova (Streamwood, Illinois) and Natalie Labicki (Antioch, Illinois) fell 6-4 at No. 1 doubles while Natalie Holst (Rock Island, Illinois) and Riggs lost 6-0 at No. 2. Alayna McKinley (Rock Island, Illinois) and Abby Springer (Galesburg, Illinois) fell 6-1 at No. 3.

Riggs won her singles match 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5. Stefanova lost 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 white Labicki finished her career with a 6-3, 6-0 loss at No. 2, Holst fell 6-0, 6-0 while McKinley lost 6-1, 6-0. Madison Springer (Galesburg, Illinois) lost 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6.

""We finally had amazing weather for a home meet and we've continued to get more competitive playing stronger programs like Augie," said head coach Brian Dahlstrom. "Tiah continues to show her basketball toughness as a dual sport athlete and use her mental strength on the court. It was fantastic to see us battling at the top and bottom of our lineup and show a commitment to improving."

MONMOUTH MOMENTS: Labicki, the lone senior on the roster, finishes her college career with 26 singles wins and 33 doubles wins for 59 total wins ... She ranks fourth in MC history in career doubles wins and sixth in singles wins ... Stefanova has 30 career singles wins and 29 doubles wins for 59 total ... Kimber Calvert (Paris, Illinois), who usually plays at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles, missed the match with an ankle injury.
