Golf Teams Host Fighting Scot Invite

MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/12/2026) — The Monmouth College men's and women's golf teams hosted the 2-day Fighting Scots Spring Invite this weekend. The men's A team finished fifth, the B team took 10th and the women finished fourth out of four.

Connor Watson (Macomb, Illinois) led the Scots with a 12th place finish as he shot a 76 on Saturday and a 79 on Sunday to finish with a +13 155. Jaxson Wiler (Galva, Illinois) tied for 17th with a 76-81-157. Cole Reavis (Buena Vista, Colorado) had the third lowest round on Sunday with a 74 after shooting an 84 on Saturday. He tied for 19th with a 158 total at +16, Luke Foster (Galesburg, Illinois) finished 34th with an 84-82-166. Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) was 37th with an 82-87169.

On the B team, Collin Heslin (Nashville, Tennessee) carded an 81-95-176 to finish 41st. Davis Rogers (Atlanta, Illinois) was 43rd with an 88-89 177 and CJ Pugh (Abingdon, Illinois) was 47th with an 88-91-179, Jase Whiteman (Andalusia, Illinois) was 48th with an 86-95-181 and Aidan Poor () was 51st with a 96-95-190.

Zackery Manley (Lincoln, Illinois) played as an individual and finished 41st with two rounds of 88 for a 176 total. Jacob Miller (West Point, New York) was 54th with a 103-100-203.

On the women's side Lexie Campbell (Earlville, Illinois) finished tied for ninth with a 90 on Saturday and a96 on Sunday for a total of +44 186. In her first college golf event, sophomore Mylee Hansen (Pekin, Illinois) was 16th with a 101-99-200. Also debuting this weekend, sophomore Hope Peed (Kewanee, Illinois) finished 18th with 101-105-206. Annalyn Lovall (Oneida, Illinois) was 19th with a 108-104-212 and Lucy Raymond (Galesburg, Illinois) was 23rd with 121-111-232.

The men's regular season is done with the SLIAC Championships remaining April 26-28 in Caseyville, Illinois. The women will compete April 22 at the Millikin Spring Classic in Decatur, Illinois.
