Kamzic, Olivas join Monmouth College's development team
Monmouth, Ill. (10/05/2026) — In late September, Monmouth College's alumni office welcomed two new members as Karoline Kamzic and Angie Olivas joined the staff.
For Kamzic, it was a return to campus, as she served as Monmouth's assistant director of reunion giving from 2015-17. She's spent the past nine years as a teacher, a role she studied for at the University of Illinois, where she majored in history and secondary education.
Olivas joins the staff from nearby Knox College, where the 2018 graduate of the school served as associate director of the annual fund.
Originally from Palos Park, Illinois, Kamzic will serve as Monmouth's associate director of prospect development and donor relations, conducting prospect research, developing personalized stewardship, and increasing engagement with alumni.
"Having worked with Karoline previously, I know firsthand the thoughtfulness, creativity and commitment she brings to her work," said Monmouth Vice President for Development and College Relations Hannah Maher. "We are thrilled to welcome her back to Monmouth. Her familiarity with the college, combined with the skills and perspective she's gained over the past several years, will be a tremendous asset as we strengthen our prospect development and donor relations efforts."
A philanthropy officer, Olivas will be traveling on behalf of the college, building relationships with Monmouth alumni, parents and friends to secure gifts that support the college's strategic priorities and create transformational opportunities that will have a lasting impact for current and future generations.
"Angie brings both valuable development experience and a genuine excitement for building relationships with alumni and donors," said Maher. "I'm excited for the knowledge, energy and fresh perspective she'll bring to our team. As she gets out on the road and begins meeting members of the Monmouth community, I know they will quickly see her enthusiasm for connecting people with opportunities to make a meaningful difference for our students and the college."
At Knox, Olivas primarily developed appeals and giving initiatives while also managing a small portfolio of leadership donors. As a student from Galesburg, she earned a degree in English literature with a minor in journalism before completing a master's degree from The New School in Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism.
