Men's Soccer Falls at IWU on Sunday
MONMOUTH, Ill. (09/20/2026) — The Monmouth College men's soccer team lost a non-conference game at Illinois Wesleyan on Sunday by the score of 4-0.
The Titans scored less than a minute into the game and made it 3-0 before halftime. They scored their second and third goals in a 90-second span about halfway through the first half. .
The final goal from IWU came in the 73rd minute. Freshman goalkeeper Calvin Cotton (Hernando, Mississippi) made 11 saves in the game with seven in the first half.
MONMOUTH MOMENTS: Monmouth had one shot on goal, by Nehemiah Coleman (Portland, Oregon).. ... Coleman, Cotton and Alex Franco (El Paso, Texas) played all 90 minutes ...
