Bonifer a member of Monmouth College track and field team

Charles Bonifer of Greensburg is a member of the track and field team at Monmouth College.

The Fighting Scots men's team has won 23 of the last 24 Midwest Conference indoor championships, while the women's team has three consecutive runner-up finishes in the league after having their 13-season championship streak snapped in 2015.

The Scots will begin their indoor season Jan. 11 at St. Ambrose University. Monmouth will host the Midwest Conference meet Feb. 22-23, and the national meet is set for March 8-9 in Boston.

A political science and communication major, Bonifer is a member of the Class of 2022.
