Monmouth College Students Explore Healthcare Careers, Learn to Suture

Representatives from the Illinois Area Health Education Centers network meet with Monmouth students about opportunities in healthcare industry.

MONMOUTH, Ill. (03/01/2022) — Students in the Monmouth College "Introduction to Health Careers" class heard about professional opportunities Monday night during their class in the College's Center for Science and Business. Representatives from the Illinois Area Health Education Centers network spoke with students in chemistry professor Laura Moore's class about various professional paths available in the healthcare industry. The students also tried their hand at basic suturing.
