The following students recently met the graduation requirements at Monmouth College. The school held its 168th Annual Commencement Exercises on May 18, with an address to the graduates by 1972 Monmouth alumnus Lon Helton, the longtime host of Country Countdown USA.

The following students have recently met the graduation requirements from Monmouth College. Most of them completed their coursework at the end of the Fall 2024 semester in December.

The students on this list earned a grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while taking at least 3.0 academic credits during the Spring 2025 semester at Monmouth College.

These are the Monmouth College students who achieved at least a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale while earning at least three academic credits during the Fall 2024 semester.

The students named here made the Dean's List at Monmouth College for the Spring 2024 semester. To make the Dean's List, students needed to take at least 3.0 academic credits and have a GPA for the semester of 3.5 or higher.

The following students made the Dean's List at Monmouth College for the Fall 2023 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students had to take at least 3.0 credit hours while achieving a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Eight Monmouth College students participated in this year's Doc Kieft Summer Research program. The students have the research opportunity thanks to an estate gift from Monmouth chemistry professor Richard "Doc" Kieft, established at the time of his death in 2009. Kieft's gift includes funding for scholarships, faculty stipends and travel, making it possible for students to attend Monmouth, to conduct summer research, and to present that research at conferences. On July 14, the students gave 15-minute presentations of their research in front of an audience of nearly 40 people in the College's Center for Science and Business.

The Monmouth College students on this list all earned a grade-point average of at least 3.5 for the Spring 2023 semester while maintaining at least 3.0 course credits.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, students needed to take at least 3.0 academic credits while maintaining a grade-point average of at least 3.5.

Led by chemistry professor Brad Sturgeon, eight Monmouth College students attended the Illinois-Iowa American Chemical Society Undergraduate Research Conference, hosted Oct. 29 by St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.

The following students participated in Monmouth College's Richard "Doc" Kieft Summer Research Program. The eight-week program included a day of talks on July 15, as the students -- mostly rising juniors -- detailed their summer progress and looked ahead to what they hoped to explore in their remaining two years at Monmouth.

The following students participated Monmouth College Chorale's annual spring break tour. This year's tour included performances in Nebraska, Colorado and Missouri. The "home" concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. March 18 in the Kasch Performance Hall of Dahl Chapel and Auditorium.
