Scots Finish Regular Season with 22 PRs at Home Meet

MONMOUTH, Ill. (05/03/2026) — The Monmouth College men's and women's track and field teams hosted the Fighting Scot Invitational on Saturday, the final regular season meet of the year. . The Scots posted more than 20 PR's on the day and celebrated 12 seniors.

Senior JIllian Toth (El Paso, Illinois) won both the hammer and the shot put while senior Kayla Braun (Evansville, Illinois) won the discus. On the men's side, the 4x400m relay team prevailed in the final race of the day.

MEN

The men's 4x400m relay team of Patrick Curry Jr. (Chicago, Illinois), Logan Morse (Yates City, Illinois), Andrew Peterson (Galesburg, Illinois) and Adrian Outlaw (Galesburg, Illinois)
won with a season-best time of 3:22.51. That time ranks second in the MWC this season.

Luke Reavis (Colorado Springs, Colorado) was second in the javelin with a PR of 46.01m

Matthew Bright (Macomb, Illinois), Kaden Foglesong (Ipava, Illinois) and Lane Grice (East Galesburg, Illinois) all tied for second in the pole vault at 3.95m.

Landon Erxleben (Pekin, Illinois) was second in the shot put with a PR of 15.76m and Blake Orwig (Wyoming, Illinois) took fourth at 14.25m. Orwig took third in the hammer at 49.64m with Michael Moreno (Galesburg, Illinois) in fifth at 47.36m. Dame Thioubou (Monmouth, Illinois) was fourth in the discus at 42.28m

Morse took second in the high jump at 1.86m with Curry in third at 1.81m and Reavis in fourth at 1.76m.

Johnny York (Elmwood, Illinois) was third in the long jump at 6.53m.

Foglesong was third in the 100m hurdles in 15.68 seconds

Outlaw was third in the 400m in a season-best 50.33 seconds.

Peterson was fourth in the 800m race with a PR of 1:58.07.

Maddux Clark (Monmouth, Illinois) was fourth in the 200m in 22.49 seconds and fifth in the 100m race in 11.12 seconds.

WOMEN

Toth won the hammer throw at 51.61m and also won the shot put at 12.04m. Kyra Bivins (Esmond, Illinois) took second in the shot put with a PR of 11.94m.

Braun won the discus was a season-best throw of 40.80m. She also took fourth in the hammer at 44.41m.

Madison Rusk (Annawan, Illinois) was second in the 100m race in 12.78 seconds. She also took fifth in the long jump at 4.87m.

Hazel Hill (Pleasant Hill. Illinois) placed third in the pole vault at 1.95m.

Melissa Bivolarov (Arlington Heights, Illinois) was fourth in the 3000m steeplechase with a PR of 12:45.89

NEXT UP:
The Scots will compete in the Midwest Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships next weekend in Mount Vernon, Iowa. Hosted by Cornell, Friday's events begin at 11:30 a.m. and Saturday's start at 9:30 a.m.
