Toth Named MWC Field Performer of the Week
MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/22/2026) — Monmouth College senior thrower Jillian Toth (El Paso, Illinois) was named Midwest Conference Field Performer of the Week for her performance at Augustana's Meet of Champions last weekend.
Toth had four season-highs in throwing events on Friday and Saturday. In the hammer throw, she threw 51.16m which is the best throw in the MWC by more than seven meters and ranks 25th nationally. She threw 12.63 in the shot put, a new PR and the second-best throw in the MWC behind teammate Kayla Braun. Toth threw a PR of 37.16 in the discus which ranks fourth in the MWC and also set a new season-best in the javelin at 26.45m.
Toth also won a MWC Performer of the Week Award in Februaty during the indoor season. The Scots will host the Thursday Twilight Special at 2 p.m. Thursday. Toth has qualified for the Drake Relays and is scheduled to throw in the hammer on Saturday.
