Two Baseball Players Named CSC Academic All-District

MONMOUTH, Ill. (06/02/2026) — The Monmouth College baseball team had two student-athletes named Division III Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) this week. To qualify for CSC Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least sophomore standing, have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and participate in 90 percent of the games, or start 67 percent. Additionally pitchers may qualify with at least 35 innings pitched or 17 appearances.

Seniors Clayton Matkovic (Sherrard, Illinois) and Aidan Parkins (Monmouth, Illinois) were both first-time selections for the baseball program.

Overall, the Scots have had 44 CSC Academic All-District selections so far for the 2025-26 season. The miscellaneous sports awards and track and field honorees will be announced later this month. .
