MONMOUTH, Ill. (10/06/2026) — The Monmouth College women's and women's golf team turned in their best ever finish at the SLIAC Championships with a third-place finish in the three-day event. The last time the Scots finished top three was in the MWC Tournament in 2018 when they also placed third.
Lexie Campbell (Earlville, Illinois) led the way with a 94 on Sunday, a 93 on Monday and a 86 on Tuesday. She finished +57 with a total of 273 and tied for 16th place, earning Second Team All-Conference

Last year the Scots finished eighth, but they jumped over Illinois College, Blackburn and Westminster this year. Last year's runner up Lake Forest did not play in the SLIAC this season and Lyon, fifth a year ago, did not have enough players for a team score this season.
The Scots will play in Knox's Prairie Fire Classic on October 24-25.
