Monmouth Tennis Teams Earn All-Academic Honors

Eleven Players Named Scholar-Athletes

MONMOUTH, Ill. (07/31/2025) — The Monmouth College men's and women's tennis teams both earned All-Academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) this week with team GPA's over 3.2 for the 2024-25 academic year. The Scots also had 11 individuals earn Scholar-Athlete status from the ITA with GPA's of at least 3.5.

The women's team had six individual honors, including recent graudate Jennifer Shimmin (Monmouth, Illinois). Five returners earned Scholar-Athlete: Kimber Calvert (Paris, Illinois), Natalie Labicki (Antioch, Illinois), Abby Springer (Galesburg, Illinois), Madison Springer (Galesburg, Illinois) and Ivana Stefanova (Streamwood, Illinois).

On the men's side, two of the five Scholar-Athletes graduated in 2025: Spencer Corn (Kansas City, Missouri) and Sawyer Day (Cupertino, California). Returners Antonio Perez (St. George, Utah), Matthew Savage (Washington, Illinois) and Macaden Sepich (Mackinaw, Illinois) also earned Scholar-Athlete status this year.
