Boley, Anderson Win MWC Performer of the Week Awards

MONMOUTH, Ill. (01/28/2025) — The Monmouth College track and field teams won two more Midwest Conference Performer of the Week Awards on Tuesday. Maddie Boley (Beecher, Illinois) won for the third time this season and Shane Anderson (Lisle, Illinois) won the field award on the men's side.

At Friday's home meet, Boley won the shot put with a PR throw of 13.62m, the third-best indoor shot put in MC history. Boley took second in the weight throw with a PR of 17.95m, the second-best throw in school history. She ranks 7th nationally in both events and leads the MWC by 2.4m in the weight throw and 1.5m in the shot put as Monmouth ranks 1-2-3 in both events.

Anderson tied his PR to win the weight throw at 19.05m, the third-best throw in school history. He ranks 1st in the MWC and 4th in the nation for weight throw. He also took 4th in the shot put on Friday with a throw of 14.18m which ranks 5th in MWC.

With three indoor meets in the book, Monmouth has won the field award all three times in both genders. Boley has won all three women's awards while Anderson joins Caleb Toberman (Clifton, Illinois) as winners on the men's side. The Scots are scheduled to compete at the Grinnell Invitational on Saturday.
