Boley, Toberman Deliver Top 5 Throws in Monmouth History

Toberman wins weight throw at Bumble Rumble

MONMOUTH, Ill. (01/19/2025) — The Monmouth College men's and women's track and field teams competed in the Bumble Rumble, hosted by St. Ambrose in Davenport, Iowa on Saturday. Caleb Toberman (Clifton, Illinois) won the weight throw for the second time in as many meets this season while he and Maddie Boley (Beecher, Illinois) both delivered top-5 performances in school history.

MEN

Toberman won the weight throw with a PR of 18.79m, the fifth-best throw in Monmouth history. Shane Anderson (Lisle, Illinois) finished second with a throw of 18.60m

Toberman took second in the shot put with a career-best indoor throw of 15.42m. That throw is the best in MWC this season and just outside the all-time Monmouth top 10.

Freshman Janius Taylor (Lakeland, Florida) took third in the 200m race with a time of 22.47.

WOMEN
Boley placed second in the shot put with a throw of 13.29m, a new PR and the fifth-best throw in MC indoor history.

Boley took third in the weight throw at 17.10m and Jillian Toth (El Paso, Illinois) was fourth with a PR of 15.56m

Miranda Hursey (Hanna City, Illinois) took fourth in the pole vault at 3.20m.
