Boley Earns Second Team All-American in Shot Put
MONMOUTH, Ill. (03/15/2025) — The Monmouth College indoor track and field season came to a close on Saturday as senior Maddie Boley (Beecher, Illinois) earned her second All-American honor in two days.
Boley threw 13.38m in her first shot put throw and finished 12th to earn second team All-American honors. She was also a second team All-American on Friday in the weight throw. Boley threw 12.36m and 12.81m in her final throws to finish eighth in Flight 1 and 12th overall.
Senior Caleb Toberman (Clifton, Illinois) threw in flight one of the men's shot put, his second event at nationals. Toberman threw 15.43m on his first attempt, followed by 15.42m and 14.51m. He finished 18th overall.
The outdoor track and field season begins when the Scots head to Illinois State University on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 for the Redbird Challenge.
