Boley's Two Season Highs Lead Scots at Keck Select

Scots host meet next weekend

MONMOUTH, Ill. (02/04/2024) — The Monmouth College track and field teams competed at Saturday's Keck Select at Illinois Wesleyan. The meet included Division I and Division III teams with Monmouth's competitors racking up 18 personal events on the day.

Women
Maddie Boley (Beecher, Illinois) had a season-best performance in the weight throw, finishing fourth among all Division III athletes with a 15.76m throw. Boley also set a new PR in the shot put at 13.06m, the eighth-best throw in Monmouth history.

Miranda Hursey (Hanna City, Illinois) finished sixth among D3 pole vaulters with a career-best 3.25m. That performance is ranked as the eighth best in Monmouth history,

Maddie Rusk (Annawan, Illinois) was third among D3 participants in the long jump at 5.12m.

Men
Shane Anderson (Lisle, Illinois) finished third in the weight throw at 18.19m with Caleb Toberman (Clifton, Illinois) in fourth at 18.05m.

NEXT UP:

The Scots host their second meet of the indoor season next weekend with Saturday's Roger Haynes Invitational. The multi-team meet begins at 10:45 a.m. at the Huff Fieldhouse.
