Boley Wins MWC Performer of the Week Award
MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/01/2025) — Monmouth College senior Maddie Boley (Beecher, Illinois) was named track and field performer of the week on Tuesday for the women's field events after the first weekend of outdoor competition.
Boley picked up in the outdoor season where she left off in the indoor season with three top 3 finishes at the Redbird Challenge last weekend at Illinois State. She won the shot put at 12.60m, took second in the discus at 46.59m and took third in the hammer throw at 48.02. She was the top DIII finisher in the discus behind a former DI and Olympic trial thrower and second among DIII throwers in the hammer. She ranks 1st in the MWC in all three events and top 22 nationally in all three, including 3rd in the discus. Her discus throw also ranks 3rd in Monmouth history and was a new PR.
The Scots head to Augustana this weekend for a multi-team meet on Saturday.
