Bossert, Greenman Lead Scots at Fighting Scot Fall Invite

Bossert tied for lead heading into round two, Greenman one shot back

MONMOUTH, Ill. (09/15/2024) — The Monmouth golf teams played the first round of the Fighting Scot Fall Invite on Saturday at Gibson Woods with Briggs Bossert (Evanston, Illinois) leading the men's competition. Round two is set for Sunday with 9 a.m. tee times

On the women's side, Annalyn Lovell (Oneida, Illinois) is in 26th place with a +32 score of 103 from Saturday. She is the only competitor for the Scots on the women's team so Monmouth does not have a team score.

On the men's side, the Scots are in sixth place as a team with a +31 score. Bossert (Evanston, Illinois) shot a +1 72 on Saturday and is tied for first with a Knox golfer. Ganon Greenman (Alpha, Illinois) is one shot behind with a +2 73 and he is tied for third. Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) shot a +12 83 to sit in 36th place while Cole Reavis (Buena Vista, Colorado) is in 47th place with a +16 87. CJ Pugh (Abingdon, Illinois) made his debut with a +21 92 to sit in 56th place. Playing as an individual, Zackery Manley (Lincoln, Illinois) shot a +22 93.
