Bossert, Greenman Top 20 at Chanay Classic
MONMOUTH, Ill. (09/08/2023) — The Monmouth College men's golf team placed ninth as a team at the Duane Chanay Classic in the Quad Cities on Thursday.
Briggs Bossert (Evanston, Illinois) and Ganon Greenman (Alpha, Illinois) both had the best rounds with a 7-over 79 to tie for 19th place. Carter Wilson (Washington, Illinois) shot a +14 85 to tie for 43rd and Grant Foster (Galesburg, Illinois) was a shot behind for 51st. Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) shot 94 to tie for 69th, three spots ahead of Gordon Kiesgen (Spring Grove, Illinois) with a 97. Zackery Manley (Lincoln, Illinois) tied for 74th with a 100.
The Scots will next be in action on Monday, September 11 in a meet hosted by Blackburn College.
