Bossert Earns Second Team All-Conference Honors at SLIAC Golf Championships

Monmouth finishes 10th in team standings

MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/30/2024) — The Monmouth College men's golf team finished in 10th place at the SLIAC Championships in and junior Briggs Bossert (Evanston, Illinois) earned second-team All-Conference honors as he tied for 16th place.

Bossert shot a 73 on Tuesday to finish overall at +7 with a 220 for the three rounds. Ganon Greenman (Alpha, Illinois) had one of the best rounds of the day overall with a -3 69 and he finished tied for 28th with a score of 227

Cole Reavis (Buena Vista, Colorado) finished 53rd with a score of 253 after carding his best round of the event with an 80 on Tuesday. Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) also had his low-round of the Championships with an 82 on Tuesday and he finished 54th with 256. Carter Wilson (Washington, Illinois) dropped one shot off his Monday score to shoot an 83 on Tuesday and finish in 56th with an overall score of 258.

The Scots finished in 10th place as a team, out of 13 teams, The Scots posted a team score of 328 on Sunday, 323 on Monday and 304 on Tuesday for a total of 955. Mississippi University for Women won the event with a team score of 868 and Webster's Jan Wdowka won the individual title with a 3-day total of 208.
