Bossert in 10th Place After Round Two of SLIAC Championships

MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/29/2024) — The Monmouth College men's golf team finished the second round of the SLIAC Championships in Metamora, Illinois on Monday. After the first two rounds, Monmouth junior Briggs Bossert (Evanston, Illinois) is tied for 10th with 18 holes remaining on Tuesday.

Bossert shot a 74 on Monday after an opening-round 73 on Sunday. He is +5 for the tournament, six shots off the lead. Ganon Greenman (Alpha, Illinois) is tied for 38th place after an 81 on Monday. He shot a 77 on Sunday and is at +16 overall.

Cole Reavis (Buena Vista, Colorado), Carter Wilson (Washington, Illinois) and Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) are all bunched together in the standings at T54th, 57th and 58th. Reavis shot an 85 on Monday after an 88 on Sunday. Henson is one shot behind Reavis with an 84 on Monday and a 90 on Sunday. Wilson shot 91 on Sunday and backed that up with an 84 on Monday to sit one shot behind Henson

The Scots are in 10th place as a team, out of 13 teams, The Scots posted a team score of 328 on Sunday and 323 on Monday. With a total of 651 the Scots are 30 shots behind 9th place Knox and three strokes ahead of 11th place Blackburn. There is a 3-way team tie for 1st place at 584.
