Cikauskas Named to D3football.com Team of the Week

MONMOUTH, Ill. (11/04/2025) — Monmouth College senior defensive end Anthony Cikauskas (Oswego, Illinois) was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week on Tuesday, a day after being named the Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week.

Cikauskas racked up four and a half tackles for loss, two sacks, seven total tackles, two QB hurries and one pass breakup on Saturday in a 29-0 shutout of Chicago. Cikauskas and the defense held Chicago to seven overall first downs, five rushing yards and 84 total yards of offense. Cikauskas broke Monmouth's career sack record with his sack in the first quarter and now has 36 for his career.

This is the second time Cikauskas has earned D3football.com Team of the Week honors in his career. He also made the team in Week 9 of the 2023 season when he had four TFL and 2.5 sacks in a 45-3 win over Ripon.

Cikauaskas is the fourth Monmouth player named to the D3football.com Team of the Week this year, tying the 2021 team for the most in school history,. Chase Newman (Morrison, Illinois), Derek Chandler Monmouth, Illinois) and Mylee Hansen (Pekin, Illinois) were the other three selections this season.

The Scots host Ripon at 1 p.m. Saturday and will secure the Midwest Conference title with a victory.
