Colona Resident Presents Her Monmouth College Research at Regional Psychology Conference

Kalista Merrill presents work at 32nd annual Tri-State Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference.

MONMOUTH, Ill. (11/19/2023) — A Monmouth College student from Colona, Illinois, recently presented her psychology research at a regional conference. Kalista Merrill '24 of Colona presented "Understanding and Prioritizing Mental Health on College Campuses" at the 32nd annual Tri-State Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference, held Nov. 11 at Rockford University. The annual daylong symposium focuses on research conducted by undergraduates in collaboration with faculty advisers. It is hosted by a consortium of four colleges from Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin on a rotating basis and attracts several dozen students from schools around the Midwest. This year's conference drew students from 15 colleges and universities.
