Five Football Players Named D3football.com All-Region
MONMOUTH, Ill. (12/11/2025) — For the second year in a row the Monmouth College football team had a record five players named to the D3football.com All-Region Team. This marks the fourth time in school history the Scots have received five selections and the first time they have done it in consecutive seasons.
Senior linebacker Ethan James (Carthage, Illinois) and senior safety Damien Brown (East Peoria, Illinois) were named to the First-Team for Region 5. Monmouth joined North Central, Wartburg and Wheaton as the only teams with more than one player on the First Team defense and the Scots are one of only five schools to have multiple First Team selections.
Senior offensive tackle James Conner (Kewanee, Illinois) was named to the Second Team offense. Senior defensive end Anthony Cikauskas (Oswego, Illinois) and junior running back Nate Wrublik (Lemont, Illinois) were both named to the Third Team.
Cikauskas earned the second D3football.com All-Region selection of his career after being named to the Second Team in 2023. All five players were also all Midwest Conference selections this season while James, Cikauskas and Conner were all MWC Most Valuable Players at their positions. D3football.com will announce their All-American team on Dec. 22.
The Scots have posted at least two All-Region selections from D3football.com in every non-COVID season since 2016 and at least one selection dating back to 2007. Overall, only North Central (12), Wheaton (10), Wartburg (8) and Central (6) had more selections than the Scots.
