Gaden is Third Scot to Earn D3football.com Team of the Week Honorees
Monmouth, IL (11/19/2019) — Senior linebacker Clark Gaden (Chatham, Ill./Glenwood) became Monmouth's third player this season to earn D3football.com Team of the Week honors, following Nick Miyler's defensive team award and Joey Biel's special teams honor.
Gaden came off the training table to lead Monmouth's defense with a game-high 17 tackles in Saturday's 10-7 win over St. Norbert in the Midwest Conference championship game. Hampered by an injury that limited practice all week, Gaden helped hold St. Norbert's high powered offense to just seven points and 293 total yards.
A business and accounting major, Gaden is the son of Kevin and Jodi Gaden.
