Greenman Finishes Ninth for Men's Golf at Millikin Event

MONMOUTH, Ill. (09/29/2024) — The Monmouth men's golf team finished in seventh place over the weekend in Millikin's Butts Classic in Decatur, Illinois.

Ganon Greenman (Alpha, Illinois) led the Scots as he finished ninth with a two-day total of 151. He shot a 78 on Friday and a 73 on Saturday. Briggs Bossert (Evanston, Illinois) tied for 33rd with a 83-81-164 for a +24. Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) was 37th with a +25 165 after carding an 80 on Friday and an 84 on Saturday. Cole Reavis (Buena Vista, Colorado) finished 45th for an 88 on Friday and 83 on Saturday for a 171 total. CJ Pugh (Abingdon, Illinois) shot +30 100 on Saturday and finished in 54th place with a +42 182.

The women's team did not compete this weekend and will next be in action at the SLIAC Championships October 6-8 in Metamora, Illinois. The men will play next weekend at the Knox College Invite Oct. 14-15.
