Jordan Hill Named MWC Men's Basketball Performer of the Week

Monmouth junior scored 55 points in two games

MONMOUTH, Ill. (01/04/2024) — Monmouth College men's basketball junior Jordan Hill (Chicago, Illinois) was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Wednesday.The award covers the period from December 18-31 over the holiday break for the MWC.

Hill led the Fighting Scots to a 2-0 record over the holiday break with a win at Westminster and a 2-OT home win over Aurora. Hill averaged 27.5 ppg while shooting 47% from the field and 44.4% from 3pt range. Hill scored a career high 34 points in the home win over Aurora on Dec. 30 with a 13-for-26 performance from the field. He added a pair of 3-pointers and was 6-for-7 at the free throw line.

Hill also scored 21 points in the win at Westminster on Dec. 19 and in the two games Hill grabbed six boards, dished out two assists and added a steal. He is Monmouth's first winner of the basketball award this season.
