Scots senior guard earns another accolade
MONMOUTH, Ill. (03/15/2022) — Monmouth College senior Josie Morgan (Washington, Illinois) has been named D3hoops.com Second Team All-Region for Region 9. She is the third player in Monmouth history to make a D3hoops.com All-Region team and the first to be above Third Team.
Morgan was joined on the Region 9 Second Team by players from Simpson, UW-Platteville, Augsburg and UW-Whitewater. The Region 9 guards on the First Team from UW-Oshkosh and UW-Eau Claire both made the D3 NCAA Tournament. Morgan is the only Midwest Conference player selected to an All-Region team.
Players were nominated for All-Region teams by Sports Information Directors and 746 players were nominated nationwide. The nominations were then voted on by a panel of SID's to form All-Region teams.
