Maddie Boley Tuesday - Boley Repeats as MWC Performer of the Week
MONMOUTH, ILL. (04/29/2025) — In what has become known as Maddie Boley Tuesday - Monmouth College senior Maddie Boley (Beecher, Illinois) has been named the Midwest Conference Field Performer of the Week for the second straight week, the fourth time this season and the 16th time in her illustrious career..
Boley had a busy week for the Scots with appearances in three meets. On Tuesday at the home Twilight meet in the rain she won the discus and shot put while taking third in the hammer. Friday, she competed at the prestigious Drake Relays and made the finals in the stacked discus field, finishing ninth at 45.16m. On Saturday, Boley won the discus and shot put at the Knox Open while taking second in the Hammer. For the week her best throws were 13.28m shot put, 51.62m hammer, and 46.16m discus.
She leads the MWC in all three events this season and ranks 3rd nationally in the discus, 8th nationally in the hammer and 24th nationally in the shot put. In addition to nine outdoor weekly awards in her career, Boley has seven indoor weekly awards from the MWC for a career total of 16.
The Scots host the Midwest Invite on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
