Matlock is Scots' First Women's Lacrosse Weekly League Honoree of 2020
Monmouth, IL (03/10/2020) — Sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Matlock (Lees Summit, Mo./Saint Teresas Academy) is Monmouth's first women's lacrosse league honoree for the 2020 season after the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference sports information directors voted her the Defensive Performer of the Week for games the week of March 1.
Matlock came up with 15 big saves in a 13-11 win over Illinois Tech, Monmouth's first program win over the Scarlet Hawks. She had opened the week with a 12-save effort in a loss to Illinois Wesleyan. For the week, Matlock totaled 27 saves with a .529 save percentage while picking up her first win in goal this season.
A classics major, Matlock is the daughter of Paul and Amy Matlock.
