Men's Golf Finishes 13th at IC's Blueboy Invite

MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/12/2024) — The Monmouth College men's golf team completed the Illinois College-hosted Blueboy Invite at The Rail in Springfield on Friday. The Scots finished 13th as a team.

Ganon Greenman (Alpha, Illinois) led the Scots again on Friday with a 5-over 77 and he finished tied for 27th with a 153 (+9). Briggs Bossert (Evanston, Illinois)was 10-over on Friday with an 82 and he finished tied for 42nd with a 161.

Carter Wilson (Washington, Illinois) tied for 66th with an 87 on Friday, one shot better than his first round score. Grant Foster (Galesburg, Illinois) was right behind Wilson overall with a 69th place finish as he shot 93 on Friday. Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) dropped three shots from his first-round score to card a 95 on Friday and he tied for 75th.

The Scots play in Galesburg at the Knox Invite on Saturday and Sunday.
