Men's Golf Team Finishes Fall Season in Iowa

MONMOUTH, Ill. (10/04/2023) — In their final event of the fall season, the Monmouth College men's golf team finished in 17th place at the two-day Central Fall Classic. The event was played at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa.

Ganon Greenman (Alpha, Illinois) finished tied for 42nd with an 80 on Monday and an 80 on Tuesday for a two-day total of 160. Briggs Bossert (Evanston, Illinois) shot 85-84-169 for 84th place and Carter Wilson (Washington, Illinois) finished in 92nd with an 86-96-182. Grant Foster (Galesburg, Illinois) shot 94-95-189 for 93rd and Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) finished 95th with 107-94-201.

Playing as individuals, Declan Flynn (Monmouth, Illinois) and Gordon Kiesgen (Spring Grove, Illinois) tied for 96th. Flynn shot 99-105-204 and Kiesgen was at 108-96-204. Zach Manley (Lincoln, Illinois) was 98th with 108-113-221.

The Scots will next be in action in March with the start of the spring season.
