Monmouth College Reopens Campus to Help Students Beat Winter Storm

Monmouth College Students Allowed to Return to Campus on Saturday ahead of Anticipated Winter Storm

by Duane Bonifer

MONMOUTH, Ill. (11/24/2018) — Monmouth College students may return to campus a day early from Thanksgiving break.

Because of a winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service, students may begin returning to campus on Saturday, November 24. Although students may return to a campus a day early, meals will not resume in the Stockdale Center until 5 p.m. Sunday, November 25.

Students should also be advised not to park on the City of Monmouth snow routes. The City of Monmouth has issued a "Snow Emergency" from noon-midnight Sunday, November 25. For more information about the city's snow route, click here.

If students have questions about the snow route, they should contact the College's Office of Campus Safety at 309-457-3456.
