Ashley Farris and Riley Cook drilled 13 kills each in Saturday's 3-0 Monmouth win over Lawrence, the Scots' second Midwest Conference win in as many days. Led by Cook's .545 attack percentage and Farris' .464 mark, the Scots hit .302 as a team.
The Scots took the opening set 25-18 and pulled out to a 17-9 lead in the second set to cruise to a 25-16 win on Cook's set-ending kill. Monmouth closed out the win with a 25-17 Set 3 win, finished by Laura Dulee's ace serve.
Monmouth travels to Eureka Tuesday and to St. Louis for the Washington University Invitational on Saturday.
