MONMOUTH, Ill. (09/15/2025) — Monmouth College men's soccer player Owen Murray (Cedar City, Utah) was named the Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Murray scored four goals, including two game winners, as the Scots went 2-0 last week.

Murray scored both goals in a 2-1 road win at Eureka on Wednesday. His first goal made it 1-0 in the first half and after the Red Devils equalized, Murray scored moments later for the 2-1 lead. He then scored the first and third goals in a 3-0 home win over Buena Vista on Saturday. Murray is tied for first in the MWC with 2 game winning goals, tied for 2nd in total goals (4) and tied for fourth in points (8) on the season.

The Scots (2-2-1) head to St. Louis on Tuesday for a game against the University of Health, Sciences and Pharmacy. The next home game is the MWC opener against Beloit at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27.
