Scots' Water Polo Pair End Season with Weekly League Honors
Monmouth, IL (11/13/2019) — Monmouth's Kyle Jones (Parkland, Fla./Stoneman Douglas) and Jared Hankinson (St. Louis, Mo./Kirkwood) wrapped up their seasons capturing weekly Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference honors.
Named to the honorable mention squad for Defensive Player of the Week, Jones turned in 37 saves in three games last week. The goalkeeper recorded a high of 15 saves in Saturday's second game. A sophomore economics major, Jones is the son of Mireille Jones and Craig Jones.
Hankinson, a center defender, was an honorable mention selection for Player of the Week honors. The senior scored six goals in three games last weekend, posting a high of three in the weekend's second contest. A communication major, Hankinson is the son of James and Michelle Hankinson.
