Scots' Women Win Thriller in Double OT

The game was just 91 seconds from being a draw when Makayla Shaw punched in the winning goal in Monmouth's 2-1 double overtime road win at Concordia Chicago.
Mikayla McCart and Jordyn Gosell combined for the dish to Shaw for the winner after the teams played scoreless soccer for nearly an hour. Kara-Jade Gordon fed Jacie Reis for the Scots' first goal coming in the 19th minute. Quin Cutler stoned CUC until the 50th minute as the teams collected 12 shots each in the first 90 minutes. Shaw's winner came on just the second shot of the second overtime to give Cutler the win.
Monmouth continues their road trip Sunday with a 1 p.m. contest at Buena Vista.
