Scots Compete at Bumble Rumble on Saturday

MONMOUTH, Ill. (01/18/2026) — The Monmouth College men's and women's track and field teams returned to St. Ambrose for the Bumble Rumble on Saturday. The meet was the second of the season and the first in January for the Fighting Scots.

WOMEN

Jillian Toth (El Paso, Illinois) took second in the weight throw at 15.26m with Kayla Braun (Evansville, Illinois) in fourth at 14.25m and Brynn Hogan (Galena, Missouri) in fifth at 14.21m. Braun took second in the shot put at 12.33m and Toth was third at 12.30m.

Maddie Rusk (Annawan, Illinois) took second in the long jump at 5.30m.

Paige Luntsford (Cairo, Missouri) was fifth in the 3000m run with a PR of 10:57.36, nearly a full minute better than her previous PR.

MEN

Da'Von Patterson (Ponte Vedra, Florida) took second in the 200m in 22.34. Freshman Jerry Reed (Danville, Illinois) was fifth in 23.41. Both were competing for the first time this season after playing football.

Logan Morse (Yates City, Illinois) took third in the high jump with an indoor PR of 1.89m. Patrick Curry (Chicago, Illinois) tied for fourth at 1.84m

Freshman Kaden Fogelsong (Ipava, Illinois) finished fifth in the 60m hurdles in his first career meet. He ran 9.13 in the prelims and 8.99 in the finals.

Newcomer Andrew Peterson (Galesburg, Illinois) finished fourth in the 800m with a time of 2:01.78 in his first meet for the Fighting Scots.
