MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/27/2026) — The second round of the SLIAC Men's Golf Championships was suspended by rain on Monday afternoon. The golfers had all completed between 13 and 15 holes when the round was called. Monmouth's Connor Watson (Macomb, Illinois) moved up from fourth place to second place and is currently even on the day through 14 holes. He sits at 1-under on the tournament, four shots back of the leader.

Jaxson Wiler (Galva, Illinois) is in 33th place and +6 on the day while Cole Reavis (Buena Vista, Colorado) is +10 after 13 holes and in 45th place. Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) is +9 on the round and in 49th place while Luke Foster (Galesburg, Illinois) is tied for 51st with a +9 after 13 holes.

Playing at the Far Oaks GC in Caseyville, Illinois, Monmouth is in ninth place out of 13 teams. The Scots are 14 strokes behind Webster for eighth place and fifth among Midwest Conference teams playing in the SLIAC. Grinnell leads the tournament with Lake Forest in second.
