Six Swimmers Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/01/2025) — The Monmouth College men's and women's swimming teams combined to have six student-athletes named Division III Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) on Tuesday. To qualify for CSC Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least sophomore standing, have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and participate in at least five meets on the season or finish top 10 at conference..

The women's team placed four on the All-District team. Junior Cally Tate (Monmouth, Illinois) is a repeat selection and she is joined by fellow junior Nicole Fitch (Marengo, Illinois). Sophomores Claire LaBadie (Griffith, Indiana) and Addie Smith (Monmouth, Illinois) made it in their first year eligible.

The men's team had a repeat selection for junior Ethan Main (Oneida, Illinois) while sophomore Luke Foster (Galesburg, Illinois) earned the honor in his first year of eligibility.

Overall, the Scots have had 28 CSC Academic All-District selections so far for the 2024-25 season. The spring sports (tennis, baseball, softball, track and golf) will have their honorees announced weekly between May 13 and June 24.
