Swim Teams Fall at Beloit on Friday Night

MONMOUTH, Ill. (01/17/2026) — The Monmouth College swim teams lost a dual meet to Midwest Conference foe Beloit College on Friday night in Wisconsin. The men lost 81-63 and the women fell 102-85

WOMEN

Caitlyn Stewart (Monmouth, Illinois), this week's MWC Performer of the Week, and Allie Warren (Galesburg, Illinois) both won two events on the day. Stewart won the 100 fly in 1:06.39 and the 1000 freestyle in 11:22.51, winning by over a minute and 20 seconds.

Warren won the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.77 and the 200 IM with a time of 2:23.06

Cally Tate (Monmouth, Illinois) won the 200 free by four seconds with a time of 2:08.94. She took second in the 100 backstroke in 1:04.99.

Addie Smith (Monmouth, Illinois) won the 500 freestyle in 5:49.26

Nora Collins (Hopedale, Illinois) was second in the 100 free in 1:01.03. She was third in the 50 free in 27.47 with Addie Zamora (Arma, Kansas) in fourth at 28.11.

Nicole Fitch (Marengo, Illinois) was third behind Warren in the 200 IM with a time of 2:31.73.

The women's 400 freestyle relay team of Zamora, Stewart, Collins and Fitch won by 28 seconds with a time of 4:02.88. The women's 200 yard medley relay team of Tate, Warren, Fitch and Smith took second in 2:01.05.

MEN

Luke Foster (Galesburg, Illinois), the reigning MWC Performer of the Week, won the 50 free in 24.16 seconds. He was second in the 100 backstroke in 59.80 seconds.

Jordan Bridgford (Kapolei, Hawaii) won the 100 fly in 59.71 seconds and took second in the 200 free in 1:58.37

Kody Coyne (Bluffton, Indiana) won the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.07, just out touching teammate Ethan Main (Oneida, Illinois) who took second in 1:08.42. Coyne was second in the 200 IM in 2:22.56.

The men's 200 yard medley relay team of Foster, Coyne, Bridgford and Main won an uncontested race in a time of 1:47.03.

MONMOUTH MOMENTS: Last year, the Monmouth men beat Beloit at home while the women lost by five ... The Scots are back at home on Saturday against North Central at 1 p.m. ... Senior Night is set for next Friday against Millikin.
