Tennis Falls at Lake Forest on Saturday

MONMOUTH, Ill. (09/13/2025) — The Monmouth College women's tennis team lost their Midwest Conference opener on Saturday 7-0 at Lake Forest.

Ivana Stefanova (Streamwood, Illinois) and Natalie Labicki (Antioch, Illinois)lost in a tiebreak at No. 1 doubles 7-6 (8). Kimber Calvert (Paris, Illinois) and Natalie Holst (East Moline, Illinois) lost 6-0 at No. 2 doubles while Alayna McKinley (Rock Island) and Abigail Springer (Galesburg, Illinois) lost 6-0 at No, 3 doubles

Stefanova lost at No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-2 while Labicki fell 6-3, 7-5 at No. 2, Calvert fell at No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-1 and Holst lost at No. 4 6-1, 6-1. McKinley lost 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 and Madison Springer (Galesburg, Illinois lost 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6.

MONMOUTH MOMENTS: Labicki had a three-match win streak in singles snapped ... Holst won in singles against LFC last year, Monmouth's first singles win against the Foresters since 2015 ... The women host Illinois Wesleyan at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
