Monmouth scored three times with two outs in the fifth for a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Penn State-Behrend Sunday afternoon in Fort Pierce, Fla.
Matt Temaner got the rally started, drawing a walk and moving into scoring position on Tyler Ulfig's base hit. Justin Bost's double then plated Temaner to break the ice and Ulfig raced in behind Temaner on an outfield error. Tied at 2-2, Sean Davis drove in his seventh run of the spring when his base knock plated Bost.
The pitchers took it from there, keeping PSB in check and earning Hunter De La Rosa the win out of the bullpen. Trevor Davis, the Scots' seventh pitcher of the day, closed out the game, facing just three batters in the ninth for his first save.
