Toberman Throws at Division III NCAA Indoor National Championships
MONMOUTH, Ill. (03/10/2023) — Monmouth College track and field junior Caleb Toberman (Clifton, Illinois) competed at the Division III NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday in the weight throw.
Ranked 13th out of 20 and placed in Flight 1, Toberman started the day with a throw of 16.80m He fouled on his next two throws and didn't qualify for the finals, which included the top nine of the original 20.
Toberman won the weight throw and the shot put at the Midwest Conference Indoor Championships last month and recorded the fifth best weight throw in school history. Toberman and the Scots will start their outdoor season on Saturday, April 1 in Dubuque, Iowa.
