Toth Delivers Big Throw at Drake Relays

Luntsford, Stoub run at Whitewater

MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/26/2026) — Three Monmouth College Track & Field athletes competed on Saturday with Jillian Toth (El Paso, Illinois) at the prestigious Drake Relays while Paige Luntesford (Cairo, Missouri) and Xander Stoub (Palos Heights, Illinois) ran at the Drake Alternate, hosted by Wisconsin-Whitewater.

At the Drake Relays, Toth moved up to fifth in the national rankings with a season-best hammer throw of 53.73m. That throw is just below her PR from last season of 53.78 and was good enough to finish ninth on Saturday. She was second among all D3 throwers.

In Wisconsin, Stoub ran a season-best 16:30.93 to finish ninth in the men's 5000m. The time is 24 seconds better than his previous-best in 2026. Luntsford finished sixth in the women's race in 19:03.98, just three seconds off her PR for the event. She was first among all D3 runners, finishing behind D1 competitors from Marquette and Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
