Toth Named MWC Performer of the Week
MONMOUTH, Ill. (02/10/2026) — Monmouth College senior thrower Jillian Toth (El Paso, Illinois) was named Midwest Conference Women's Field Performer of the Week on Tuesday.
At Saturday's loaded Keck Select Meet hosted by Illinois Wesleyan, Toth took second in the invitational weight throw with a season-best performance of 16.11m. That throw is the best in the MWC this season by nearly half a meter and has Toth ranked in the top 50 nationally. She also took fourth in the shot put with a throw of 10.86m.
This marks the second straight week the Scots have won the award and the third time this season. Thrower Kayla Braun (Evansville, Illinois) won last week and also in December.
The Scots are home this weekend with a multi-team meet, the Roger Haynes Invitational, in the Huff Center Fieldhouse all day Saturday. Field events begin at 10:45 a.m. and track events start at Noon.
