Volleyball Falls at North Central on Saturday
MONMOUTH, Ill. (09/10/2023) — The Monmouth College volleyball team lost on Saturday to North Central in their final match of the North Central Invite.
The Cardinals, receiving votes in this week's AVCA Coaches Division III poll, won the match 25-9, 25-11, 25-19. Layne Wright (Davenport, Iowa) led the Scots with six kills. Alana Robertson (Mapleton, Illinois) led the team with 13 assists and Savannah Robinson (Delavan, Illinois) had 12 digs. Bailey Hill (East Alton, Illinois) had both of Monmouth's aces while Brynn Hogan (Galena, Missouri) had a block to go with four kills.
MONMOUTH MOMENTS: Next weekend the Scots head to Dubuque, Iowa for four matches in the Loras InvitationalThey will play Loras and Central on Friday with matches against St. Mary's (Minn) and St. Scholastica on Saturday.
