Women's Golf Competes at Millikin's Weekend Event

MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/23/2023) — The Monmouth College women's tennis team finished eighth in the two-day Take Back the Night Challenge hosted by Millikin University.

Amanda Stevens (Mason City, Illinois) had the best individual finish with a total score of 203. She finished tied for 40th after carding a 103 on Friday and a 100 on Saturday for a total of +59.

Sarah Saddoris (Port Byron, Illinois) finished 44th overall. She shot 101 on Friday and 110 on Saturday to finish +67.

Annalyn Lovell (Oneida, Illinois) finished 50th with a 124 on Friday and a 105 on Saturday to finish +89. Izzy McDermott (Evanston, Illinois) finished 51st with a 163-143-306 to finish +162.

The Scots shot a 491 on Friday at South Side Country Club in Decatur, Illinois and a 458 on Saturday at Red Tail Run. Washington University-St. Louis won the 8-team event with a two-day score of 616 The individual winner from Rose-Hulman shot a -1 72-71-143 for the two rounds.

The Scots will play their final event of the season next Friday and Saturday at Augustana.
