Women's Golf Finishes First Round of Millikin Event
MONMOUTH, Ill. (04/19/2024) — The Monmouth College women's golf team played the first round of Millikin's Take Back the Night Challenge on Friday in Decatur. The Friday round was at Red Tail Run Golf Course while Saturday's second round will be at South Side Country Club. .
Annalyn Lovell (Oneida, Illinois) shot a 109 and is in 54th place. Lexie Campbell (Earlville, Illinois) shot 118 and is in 56th place, one spot ahead of Izzy McDermott (Evanston, Illinois) who shot 140.
The Scots did not have a fourth golfer on Friday so they didn't register a team score. The overall leader shot 1-under-par 71. Saturday's round is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
